Life time saver

Could it be that everything and the consequential disruption that has been occurring is not just a design from the technocrats and financiers of the world? Is it a manifestation of effects from all the causes that we have managed to accrue in the present?The causes that we as humans have been making collectively have brought about the need to address our place in the world on a deeper level. Was that possible with everyone rushing about trying to keep their head above the parapet?I followed the model for many years, working for a company and trying to fit in with a system that didn’t suit my way. Eventually, I listened to what my inner self had been trying to tell me for years. I started painting, after having a heart attack in 2013. I now have a studio and am striving to develop a business based on my artwork. I feel very fortunate to be in a position where I can explore and appreciate what a challenge it is for anyone trying to make ends meet.​

​My health and understanding of the way my life operates are growing every day directly due to the creative actions that I am taking. My sensibility and ability to cope with life have improved dramatically. I believe this is a direct result of my artwork​

A  Renaissance of the human spirit?

Hard to believe isn’t it?

In a couple of years, much of the world will be continuing in a destructive mode again, however, deep down changes are going on and there is no going back.​

​It has happened before historically and we have seen many changes in the years since WW2. I was born in the 1950s in the UK and feel so fortunate to be in the first generation not to be directly involved in a war. Now it is possible to connect with the Globe where we are far from living in peace. Understanding of the world as a place of people and conflict is available online.

​Becoming an Artist

It has happened before historically and we have seen many changes in the years since WW2. I was born in the 1950s in the UK and feel so fortunate to be in the first generation not to be directly involved in a war. Now it is possible to connect with the Globe where we are far from living in peace. We can ​develop an understanding of the world as a place suffering with warfare and poverty through the internet. Not just wait to be told. 

It is necessary for us to become aware of what is and what is not based on real events. Hope is as important as ever an in my small way I would like to contribute in some way to building a foundation of hope​

​I am a visual artist and so happy to be in Brighton, the UK, with a small studio and successfully selling my work. As my Art practice grows so does my understanding of its possible place in the world. I have not always been an artist and this helps me be young at heart when making paintings.

As I paint I feel in touch with the world differently than before I painted. A new sensitivity that is deep down.

​Emotional Polarities becoming dynamic

It is this part of me that is realising the power of the situation that humanity is experiencing. Moments of anxiety are replaced with tremendous excitement at the thought of people becoming more in tune with their greater selves.​I’ve been trying to mix business with Art making, which most people would agree is not an easy task.

I  agree with them but at the same time, the challenge keeping my integrity and developing a business, in general, strengthens my resolve.

​Alice down the Rabbit Hole

​​I have been down a few rabbit holes and even had tea with a few very charming rabbits who have been very willing to advise me how to do my business. I listened and quite fancied a rabbit hole myself. This is not to be, and instead of wanting the rabbit hole I simply want to share my paintings with a wide variety of possible clients.

It is these people that I want to connect with and have some if only small, influence on their environment and with those around them. I don’t expect this to be a quick process but I need to steadily take the steps to achieve this.Many business models suggest that with a few simple steps you can go online and set up a business. Sure you can but unless it suits your personality and character it will not get very far. It takes time and determination to get honest with yourself. Even when you get into the right groove the amount of work to get things done is enormous. Please don’t be deceived by the professional copy that is presented about a quick fix. They do not exist.Be willing to change the plan so that your heart sings with delight and is not as heavy as a stone.

All of the foundation building has a profound effect on our self-belief and it is this that we need more than ever in the time of the coming renaissance of the human spirit
